The Grade II listed building on Colmore Row, Birmingham has operated as a 180-bedroom hotel since the 19th century until it closed in 2002 and is now to be redeveloped by the hotel brand. Following extensive refurbishment, the hotel is scheduled to reopen in early 2019 and will feature conference and meeting spaces, spa facilities and a rooftop infinity pool.
The hotel will form part of a restored building which will also feature new shops and 1000 sqm of office space and intends to be ‘the finest hotel in Birmingham’ by Principal.
